Call for Applications for the second round of the Internship Support Program for RGPP Alumni

The second round of the Internship Support Grant for RGPP Alumni was instituted by the Romani Studies Program at Central European University with a total amount of EUR 12, 000  in the Framework of the Roma in European Societies (RES) project in order to support RGPP Alumni in engaging in substantive, professionally relevant remote/on-site internships. 

The aim of the Grant is to support RGPP Alumni, transitioning from graduate studies to the job market on a competitive basis.

The Embassy of Canada in Budapest, Hungary is seeking energetic and reliable students who are team players, as part of a work experience Program with the CEU Romani Studies Program.  Selected students will be employed full or part time for a 3-month period with a possibility of an extension, not to exceed 6 months. No previous work experience is necessary, but previous work in an office will be valued.

Call for Applications for Book Manuscript Write-Up Fellowship in Romani Studies

The Romani Studies Program at Central European University invites applications for the Book Manuscript Write-Up Fellowships. The fellowship aims at enabling authors to finalize the manuscript of an English-language scholarly book that applies critical theories studying the oppression, emancipation, and resistance of Romani people. The fellowship begins in 15th of Apryl 2021 and the completed manuscripts are to be submitted by the 30th of June 2021. The fellowship amounts to 1500 Euros.

Call for Country Ambassadors

A country ambassador is preferably an RGPP Alumni member who aids the recruit activities of RGPP in a given country or countries. A Country Ambassadors needs the following assets to fulfil the role:

· has extensive knowledge and good contacts with Roma and non-Roma organizations/intuitions/universities and colleges working (or in connection) with Roma soon-to be graduate or graduate students all over the specific country.
