Elizaveta Berezina is a PhD Candidate at the Department of History, Central European University. Since AY2021/22, she has been teaching for Global History Lab (GHL), an international educational project for learning, skill development and collaboration in the creation of new narratives about the globalized world. As a teaching fellow, she facilitates students learning of global history and trains students in oral history methods and research project design. The GHL’s moto is “expanding right to research” fits the RGPP mission of expanding educational opportunities for Roma students with different educational backgrounds. Working with students, Elizaveta follows the principles of student-centered learning, focuses on individual learning needs, while trying to create an open atmosphere of cooperation and mutual assistance in the classroom.
