Sarah Werner Boada is a tutor in Gender Studies at the Roma Graduate Preparation Program as well as visiting lecturer at the Department of Gender Studies from January 2022.

Sarah is defending her PhD dissertation, entitled “The Aftermath of 600 Years of Abuse: Antigypsyism and the Gender Violence Framework in Spain”, in December 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (hons) in European Studies from Trinity College Dublin as well as a Master's degree in Political Sociology and Public Policy from Sciences Po Paris. She has policy and advocacy experience in the fields of gender violence and children’s rights.
