Reconnecting with RAP RGPP RELP, RSP Alumni

January 26, 2021

Are you a RAP, RGPP, RELP, or RSP ALUMNI?

Do you miss our unique community? Are you in touch with some of us but you wish you knew more about other cohorts?

We miss our Alumni. If you feel the same, it is time to renew our bonds.

For the past 16 years we have been proudly building a network of the more than 300 Alumni from all over Europe. Many of our RAP, RELP, and RGPP Alumni and our RSP Fellows share invaluable and life-long connections to each other, to the Romani Movement, and to the CEU community. We are amazed by our former students’ accomplishments, and we are thankful for their trust and the credit they give us. We are also aware of the role that our 300+ community plays in recruiting RGPP applicants and in guiding RGPP students in applying to and completing their master’s programs. Our Alumni often work together, advance the causes for each other, and share information about upcoming academic and professional opportunities.

2020 has highlighted that there are many ways to stay connected even if we cannot share the same physical space. The Romani Studies Program would like to take a more active role in assisting Alumni to maintain close relationships and keeping their friendships and shared alumni identities alive. We want to learn where our alumni are, what they do, and how we can serve their interests. We also want to gather ideas about how to co-create a more vibrant alumni community.

How do we do this?

  • We ask ALL OF OUR ALUMNI to let us know how we can reach you;
  • We invite you for an Online “Alumni Reunion” (late February; date TBC);
  • We invite you to follow our online communities and webinars;
  • We invite you to share ideas with us that could be our next “Alumni Initiative”;

If you have any questions, please contact us at romanistudies@ceu.edu .

We are looking forward to hearing from you!
