Call for Applications for a Study Visit at Christ’s College, University of Cambridge in the U.K.
Deadline: December 7, 2025
Central European University’s Romani Studies Program and Christ’s College Cambridge invite applications from RGPP alumni for a one-week long study visit at Christ’s College Cambridge (http://www.christs.cam.ac.uk/) and the University of Cambridge.
The programme offers a unique opportunity for two promising alumni to familiarise themselves with the academic environment and student life at one of the world’s leading universities. The program should be especially attractive for those who might consider applying for postgraduate programmes in the UK, and to Cambridge in particular; who would broaden their academic network; and who would like to benefit from the academic resources and libraries of the University of Cambridge and Christ’s College.
The study visit will take place in Lent Term 2026, between 28 February-7 March. The successful applicants will be accommodated in Christ’s College, will have the opportunity to attend lectures of their choice, meet students and faculty of the University and the College, as well as the College’s Admissions team to discuss what may constitute a successful application to Cambridge or other universities in the UK, and will have access to academic resources in Cambridge. Besides, they will be offered insights into the Roma Changemakers Initiative and meet young Roma in the UK to share experience(https://www.facebook.com/QueenKatharineAcademy/posts/-we-launched-our-roma-changemaker-initiative-aimed-at-empowering-year-7-and-8-st/1144634834312788/).
