Materials sent by postal mail, email or fax will NOT be considered. There is no fee to apply to UPPR. Do not pay any fee.
You must register online to start your application:
- Only submit your application when it is 100% complete and final. You cannot make changes after you submit it.
- You do NOT need written proof of English proficiency
- In the online form, when asked:
- “Do you qualify for exemption from providing proof of English proficiency?” Choose “YES” to move on.
- You do not need to pay an application fee
What Does The Online Application Form Ask for?
1. Fully Completed Form
2. CV. Your CV must be in English and include: Your education background; Any work experience (if any); Your involvement in Roma-related work; Your level of English (minimum: around B1)
3. Secondary School Graduation Diploma Documents/Proof of Attendance
You need to upload a scanned copy of your secondary school graduation documents (if you already finished) or proof of attendance showing you will graduate by June 2026. We prefer the English version, but your national language is okay at this stage.
4. Letter of Motivation (500 words). Explain: Why you want to join this program; Your academic and professional goals; Your involvement in Roma-related work; How you plan to be a role model in your community
5. Identity Essay (250 words). Share what being Roma means to you and how you define your identity
6. Contact Information of a Person Who Gives an Academic Letter of Recommendation (teacher, instructor, ETC)
Mandatory in the Online System: You need one mandatory recommendation letter. When filling out the online application form, you will be asked to enter: The name, email address, and details of the person who will write your recommendation. The person will receive an email notification with instructions on how to upload the letter directly to the system. You do not upload the letter yourself.
