Lucija Balikić is a historian whose research focuses on social history of ideas, history of the body and nationalism. She obtained her PhD at CEU Department of Historical Studies and has previously studied at University of Zagreb and University of Southampton. She has also been a visiting researcher at the European University Institute in Florence and Slovenian Academy of Sciences, as well as a visiting instructor at Corvinus University of Budapest. Currently, she is a Senior Research Fellow at ELTE University, researching history of ethnic and religious mixing in 20th century Yugoslavia and Hungary.
Lucija has been with RGPP since 2020 (with breaks), tutoring students in History and Cultural Heritage Studies.
