Melinda Vajda is a Romani language teacher at RGPP since 2017. She is an alumna from the 2016/2017 RGPP cohort. Melinda holds an MA diploma from Central European University, in the field of Sociology and Social Anthropology. Her thesis was about Roma migration (from Hungary to Canada 2008-2010) and homemaking. Melinda is a PhD student at ELTE, in Applied Linguistics, her research topic focuses on Roma migration, language reacquisition, identity, and belonging.
