Đuli Ramadani holds a Master’s in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Central European University (CEU). Her research focuses on urban poverty and marginalized urban areas in which mainly the Roma population reside. Her master’s thesis explores how informal practices are reproduced and maintained within such spaces. She conducted ethnographic research in an informal Roma settlement in Serbia. Driven to reach a wider audience, Đuli created a short documentary titled ‘Veliki Rit bb’, emphasizing the problem of residence registration of the internally displaced Roma from Kosovo. She also completed a traineeship at the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights in Vienna, working within the Equality, Roma, and Social Rights Unit. Đuli is currently teaching the ‘History of the World course since 1300’ to students participating in the Roma Graduate Preparation Program at CEU.
