In addition to academic English and tutorial classes, each RGPP term includes specialized courses. During the fall term, The History of the World (HOW), taught by Professor Jeremy Adelman from Cambridge University, is one of these classes. This course is not only interactive but an extremely international one. Students from 22 universities collaborate through online platforms. Activities include presenting case studies, engaging in narrative mapping, and exchanging feedback on peers' work. To support our RGPP participants, it also includes additional sessions. Djuli, a former RGPP student and CEU MA graduate, serves as a tutor for RGPP students, offering weekly sessions to deepen understanding, guide teamwork, and support assignment preparation. This is what Zoltan, one of our RGPPs from Hungary said about the first session:
The first session was a highly engaging one. It helped participants connect with one another and recognize how history shapes everything around us. We presented our favorite artwork and reflected on their meaning and the historical context they represent.
