RGPP participants take introductory classes in their selected disciplines in small groups called tutorial groups. The aim of these tutorials is to help participants prepare for MA studies in that subject.
Tutorials are offered in subject areas that have a similar MA program at CEU. Tutorials are taught by PhD students. The classes are rich in discussions and critical debates, with homework focused on improving academic writing, research, and study skills. A major component of these tutorials is independent study.
In the 2026/2027 academic year, tutoring may be available in the following subject areas:
Economics and mathematics, history, international relations/political science, public policy, sociology/gender studies.
