ERIAC and CEU Romani Studies Program launches the Barvalipe Online University

Bavarlipe Roma Online University is an online educational platform where Roma and non-Roma can access knowledge about the Roma identity(ies), history(ies) and culture(s) thorough a collection of high-quality lectures delivered by leading Roma scholars on topics ranging from the Roma Holocaust to Roma cultural productions. In partnership with Central European University (CEU), this project is part of ERIAC’s Roma Cultural History Initiative financed by the German Federal Foreign Office (FFO).

On September 2, 2020, leading scholars and activists will discuss the additional challenges and risks Romani people are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic during a webinar, “Anti-Romani Racism During COVID-19 Pandemic.” The event will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. EDT (4 to 5:30 p.m. CEST). The event will be streamed live on the FXB Center’s Facebook page.

The Roma Graduate Preparation Program (RGPP) at Central European University (CEU, Budapest Campus) is a non-degree preparatory program for Roma students who would like to do an MA course at CEU or other English-speaking higher education institutions.
